Our Story

In 2015, Daniel and Davita started By Works of Faith Ministries, a step of faith that planted the seeds for the community they would one day build. At the time, they were actively serving in youth ministry and on the worship team while also building their careers and raising their family. Although they believed in the vision, they recognized that the season was not yet right. Rather than forcing what God had not yet released, they chose to remain faithful where He had planted them.

Over the years, they continued serving in their local church, using their gifts wherever there was a need. They led worship, discipled others, supported ministry through technology, and invested in people. In 2025, they opened their home for a neighborhood Bible study. What began as a small gathering soon grew into a thriving community. Through prayer, fasting, and seeking the Lord's direction, God reminded them of the vision He had placed on their hearts years earlier.

With renewed clarity and obedience, Community Worship Ministry, Inc. was born. Community Worship exists to help people understand that worship is more than music or a Sunday gathering. It is a lifestyle. It is a community of believers committed to loving God, loving people, and serving with generosity. Daniel and Davita believe that every act of obedience, every expression of compassion, and every opportunity to serve can become an act of worship that brings glory to God.

Around the age of 13, Daniel and his family were prayed over by his pastor Arthur Sanders for the gift of music. That moment changed everything. He had never picked up an instrument in his life. Almost immediately he found himself able to play drums, moved entirely by the power of the Holy Spirit. From that day forward, it became clear that God had placed a unique calling on Daniel's life through worship and music.

Daniel remained active in ministry through his teenage years. In his early twenties he made a decision that many young people make. He stepped away to get a taste of the world. What he found there was a lesson he had never forgotten. Those years became a powerful reminder that fulfillment could never be found apart from Christ. At 26, Daniel recommitted his life to the Lord, surrendering every area of his life and determining to follow Him wholeheartedly.

In the years that followed he poured himself back into ministry. He led youth outreach, discipled others, and gave generously of his time and resources to spread the love of God. Around the age of 28 the Spirit shifted him from drums to keyboard. He remembers sitting down and playing full songs before learning a single note, his hands guided entirely by the Holy Spirit. Today, Daniel serves as CEO of Tecflow Technology, where he seeks to honor God through servant leadership. He believes ministry extends beyond the church walls and into every area of life, including the workplace.

Growing up, worship was woven into the fabric of her life. Her father faithfully served as a Minister of Music, filling their home with songs of worship while demonstrating genuine compassion for people. Through his example, Davita learned that ministry is more than serving on a platform. It is loving people well, meeting them where they are, and pointing them to Christ.

Over the years, her relationship with the Lord has grown into complete trust and dependence on Him. One of the most defining seasons of her faith came when she experienced tremendous loss. During that difficult chapter, God transformed her life by teaching her to trust Him completely. As He faithfully restored what had been lost and blessed her with even more than she could have imagined, her faith was strengthened, and her confidence in His goodness became unshakable.

God has also given Davita a heart for intercessory prayer. Throughout her walk with Christ, He has often spoken to her through visions and impressed upon her heart people and situations that need prayer. She considers it a privilege to stand in the gap for others, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead and prepare her through prayer.

Known for her heart for hospitality and encouragement, Davita finds joy in creating spaces where people feel welcomed, loved, and free to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Alongside her husband, Daniel, she co-founded Community Worship with the desire to help people understand that worship is more than music or a Sunday gathering. It is a lifestyle of loving God, serving others, and living out the Gospel every day.
